The ND-YAG laser uses a wavelength of 1064nm, resulting in greater penetration capacity and less absorption by melanin in the skin. It is therefore more suitable for skin phototypes IV, V and VI, and for light skin or skin with a low melanin concentration.
The Diode laser uses technology with a wavelength of 808nm, resulting in greater absorption by melanin in the skin, which is why it is more suitable for phototypes I, II, III and IV with dark hair and/or dark skin.
