The science of smooth skin

Laser hair removal works on a principle called selective photothermolysis. The laser emits a precise wavelength of light that is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in your hair. That light converts to heat, which damages the follicle's ability to grow new hair — without harming the surrounding skin.

Why you need a course of sessions

Your hair grows in three cycles, and laser only works on hairs in the active growth phase. At any one time, only a portion of your hair is in that phase, which is why a course of sessions roughly one month apart is needed to catch every follicle. Most clients see a dramatic reduction after 6–8 sessions.

Is it permanent?

Yes — once a follicle is destroyed it cannot regrow. Hormonal changes can occasionally stimulate new follicles over the years, which is why we recommend an occasional maintenance session. That's also why our treatments are backed by a Guarantee Certificate.

What it feels like

Most clients describe a warm pinging sensation. Our diode laser has an integrated cooling system that keeps the skin comfortable throughout.
